Physicians throughout the Northwest are directly connected to the IRM system in their offices (and wirelessly within hospitals), providing relevant clinical data when and where they need it. Access to secure and up-to-date electronic medical information saves physicians time and improves patient care.
- Over 400 offices and clinics with more than 1,000 users are able to view hospital, laboratory and imaging data.
- At least 1,000 physicians are accessing records wirelessly in hospitals. INHS has implemented MercuryMD in all five Spokane-area hospitals. This system pulls information from Meditech’s hospital information system and securely delivers it to a doctor’s personal digital assistant.
- IRM service offerings include an EMR (electronic medical records) for physician practices. The IRM Physician EMR Application Service Provider (ASP) model offers an information system that can track a patient's entire medical experience; including their physician, hospitals and consultants.
- GE Centricity Physician Office (formerly called Logician) is an EMR, integrating clinical data to reduce expenses and improve patient care. The EMR empowers health care providers to deliver the highest quality of care at a lower cost in a paperless environment. Physicians, nurses and clinical staff document each patient encounter and have immediate access to the information and other applications they need to streamline clinical workflow. They are able to securely exchange clinical data with other providers, patients and other clinical services.
In conjunction with these physician office systems, IRM offers technical support services for local and wide-area networking, desktop management services, wireless networking and a 7x24 service desk. The IRM staff can also assist you by providing connectivity, e-mail and internet services.
